What people use AliExpress proxies for
AliExpress prices and, more importantly, shipping options and delivery estimates depend on the destination country. The same item is a different offer depending on where the request originates.
The catalogue also shifts: some items are restricted per destination, and search results reflect that.
- Compare an item's offer across destination countries.
- Track price and stock on a seller's listings.
- Read search results as a buyer in the target market sees them.
Why AliExpress answers differently from a hosting address
What makes it awkward
Currency and language settings are sticky per session and will override your expectation. Start a clean session per market rather than reusing one and switching.
Where the location changes the answer
Country targeting is the whole point here, since it is what selects the shipping and pricing regime. City-level adds nothing.
Country, region and city targeting are set per endpoint in the generator, and geo-targeting explains how narrow to go.
How to route AliExpress through a proxy
Three steps, and the same three on every target in this section, because the product works the same way each time.
- 1
Generate an endpoint
Open your Residential product, go to the Proxy tab, pick the protocol and sub-user, and set the country you need. Copy the endpoint in URL format.
- 2
Point AliExpress traffic at it
Pass the endpoint to whatever makes the request: a proxy flag, a client setting, or a proxy field in the tool. HTTP is accepted everywhere; SOCKS5 is there when a client insists on it.
- 3
Verify the exit before you trust the data
Check the endpoint, read the exit IP, and look up its country and ISP. Do this before a run, not after: a silent bypass and a working proxy look identical until you read the address behind your AliExpress request.
Generating endpoints is covered field by field in Generating Proxy Endpoints, and every format the dashboard can copy is in Proxy Formats and Exports.
