What people use StockX proxies for
StockX is a market rather than a retailer, so the data is prices: current lowest ask, highest bid, and the last sale. Those figures are public and they move constantly, which is what makes repeated reads useful.
The marketplace is also currency- and region-aware, so the figures you read belong to the market you connected from.
- Track asks and last-sale prices for a model over time.
- Compare market prices across two regions and currencies.
- Collect size-level price data for resale research.
Why StockX answers differently from a hosting address
What makes it awkward
Size-level data sits behind a product variant selector, so a single product page is not enough. Read the variant data rather than rendering each size.
Where the location changes the answer
Country targeting sets currency and region. Match it deliberately, or a price series will mix currencies and look like volatility.
Country, region and city targeting are set per endpoint in the generator, and geo-targeting explains how narrow to go.
How to route StockX through a proxy
Three steps, and the same three on every target in this section, because the product works the same way each time.
- 1
Generate an endpoint
Open your Residential product, go to the Proxy tab, pick the protocol and sub-user, and set the country you need. Copy the endpoint in URL format.
- 2
Point StockX traffic at it
Pass the endpoint to whatever makes the request: a proxy flag, a client setting, or a proxy field in the tool. HTTP is accepted everywhere; SOCKS5 is there when a client insists on it.
- 3
Verify the exit before you trust the data
Check the endpoint, read the exit IP, and look up its country and ISP. Do this before a run, not after: a silent bypass and a working proxy look identical until you read the address behind your StockX request.
Generating endpoints is covered field by field in Generating Proxy Endpoints, and every format the dashboard can copy is in Proxy Formats and Exports.
