What people use Trustpilot proxies for
Trustpilot's review pages are public and localised: a company's profile is served per country domain, with its own score and review set. Monitoring a brand means reading each of them.
The pages are numerous and paginated, which is exactly the workload a single address cannot carry.
- Monitor review volume and rating changes per country domain.
- Collect review text for sentiment and issue analysis.
- Compare a brand's standing across markets.
Why Trustpilot answers differently from a hosting address
What makes it awkward
The score aggregates over time and filters, so a single page is not a stable metric. Record the filters you applied with every read.
Where the location changes the answer
Country matters because each country domain carries a separate profile. City targeting rarely changes a review set.
Country, region and city targeting are set per endpoint in the generator, and geo-targeting explains how narrow to go.
How to route Trustpilot through a proxy
Three steps, and the same three on every target in this section, because the product works the same way each time.
- 1
Generate an endpoint
Open your Residential product, go to the Proxy tab, pick the protocol and sub-user, and set the country you need. Copy the endpoint in URL format.
- 2
Point Trustpilot traffic at it
Pass the endpoint to whatever makes the request: a proxy flag, a client setting, or a proxy field in the tool. HTTP is accepted everywhere; SOCKS5 is there when a client insists on it.
- 3
Verify the exit before you trust the data
Check the endpoint, read the exit IP, and look up its country and ISP. Do this before a run, not after: a silent bypass and a working proxy look identical until you read the address behind your Trustpilot request.
Generating endpoints is covered field by field in Generating Proxy Endpoints, and every format the dashboard can copy is in Proxy Formats and Exports.
