What people use Vinted proxies for
Vinted is a set of country marketplaces rather than one global catalogue, and an item listed in one country is often invisible in another. That makes the address the selection mechanism, not just an access requirement.
Search and category feeds are the surfaces worth reading, and they are paginated and rate-limited per address.
- Read listings and prices for a specific country marketplace.
- Track category price levels over time for resale research.
- Check whether a brand or model appears in a market at all.
Why Vinted answers differently from a hosting address
What makes it awkward
Listings are individual seller posts, so catalogue quality varies. Aggregate across many listings rather than trusting a single page as a price signal.
Where the location changes the answer
Country targeting is essential, since it decides which marketplace answers. Region-level is offered by some sites and worth using only when the marketplace itself is regional.
Country, region and city targeting are set per endpoint in the generator, and geo-targeting explains how narrow to go.
How to route Vinted through a proxy
Three steps, and the same three on every target in this section, because the product works the same way each time.
- 1
Generate an endpoint
Open your Residential product, go to the Proxy tab, pick the protocol and sub-user, and set the country you need. Copy the endpoint in URL format.
- 2
Point Vinted traffic at it
Pass the endpoint to whatever makes the request: a proxy flag, a client setting, or a proxy field in the tool. HTTP is accepted everywhere; SOCKS5 is there when a client insists on it.
- 3
Verify the exit before you trust the data
Check the endpoint, read the exit IP, and look up its country and ISP. Do this before a run, not after: a silent bypass and a working proxy look identical until you read the address behind your Vinted request.
Generating endpoints is covered field by field in Generating Proxy Endpoints, and every format the dashboard can copy is in Proxy Formats and Exports.
