Buy Traffic
How to add traffic to a product: where the pricing lives, what a package and a subscription each mean, and why the prices shown can differ by account.
Last updated
Traffic is bought per product, from that product's own page. There is no separate checkout page to find.
Buy from an inactive product
- Open the product from the sidebar under My Products.
- The page opens on its pricing tables, because there is nothing to configure yet.
- Choose a package or a plan.
- Complete the payment.
When the payment settles, the product becomes active and its full set of tabs appears: Configuration, Users, Usage and Add Traffic.
Buy more traffic for an active product
- Open the product.
- Select the Add Traffic tab.
- Choose a package or a plan.
- Complete the payment.
The Add Traffic tab is always present on an active product, which is where you top up.
Buy from the dashboard home
The product list on /dashboard shows a Buy now action for products you do not own. It deep-links straight to that product's Add Traffic view, so the pricing is one click away.
Packages and subscriptions
Two purchase shapes, and the difference matters for how traffic arrives.
| Shape | How it works |
|---|---|
| Package | A one-time purchase of a fixed amount of traffic |
| Subscription | A recurring plan that grants traffic each billing period |
A package is the right choice when your usage is uneven or project-based. A subscription suits steady, predictable usage.
Why prices can differ between accounts
Pricing is resolved for your account's tier, which is based on region. Two accounts in different regions may see different package ladders and different prices for the same product. This is deliberate, not a discount you missed.
The practical consequence: if you compare prices with a colleague and they differ, compare the account regions before concluding anything is wrong.
After you buy
- The product becomes active if it was not already, and its tabs become available.
- The traffic appears in the top bar chip and on the product's Usage tab.
- The payment appears on Billing as an invoice.
Note
Traffic is granted when the payment settles, not when the checkout page is submitted. If a product has not gone active immediately, check the invoice status on the Billing page before retrying the purchase.
