My Account
What each row on the My Account page does: your email address, the Proxy checking preference, and the link to change your password.
Last updated
The My Account page is at /dashboard/account. It has three rows.
Email Address
Shows the address associated with your account. This is the address you sign in with, and the one invoices and account emails are sent to.
The row is read-only. To change the address, contact support, because changing it affects sign-in and billing.
Proxy Checking
A two-way switch that controls whether the Endpoint Generator checks each proxy automatically.
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| Auto | Every generated proxy is checked the moment it appears in the results list |
| Manual | Nothing is checked automatically; each row stays unchecked until you select its Check proxy button |
Auto is the default. It is the right choice while you are learning the tool, because you can see immediately whether an endpoint works and what latency it adds.
Manual is for when you are generating a large number of endpoints and do not need every one checked, or when you want to control exactly when the checking traffic is sent. The row-by-row check is then yours to trigger.
Note
This preference is stored in your browser, not on your account. Setting it on one computer does not change it on another, and clearing your browser data resets it to Auto.
Account Password
Shows the account password row with a Change link. That link opens the password change page, described in Change Your Password.
